Solutions · Building a new factory

Ready on the first shift.

Equipment, systems and roles are chosen before production starts. Define the operating work first, so people, data and applications are ready at start-up, and better AI can be added later without starting over.

Who it is for

Owners, engineering teams and operating leads of a factory in design, construction or commissioning.

The job to be done

  • Turn design files, equipment lists and the start-up plan into the tasks each shift must get done.
  • Translate those tasks into supplier interfaces, role coverage and training needs while choices can still change.
  • Hand the operating team configured applications they can explain and use from day one.

First step

Start with one task. Keep what works.

  1. Pick one critical operating task, such as checking energy and production records each shift.

  2. Rehearse it during commissioning with design or sample data, then check it against real equipment, records and permissions.

  3. After start-up, review results and support effort. Extend to more processes or sites by reusing what fits.

For a first project, we confirm with you the available product version, delivery scope, usage rights and timetable.

Worked example

When the method runs out, hand over cleanly

Unfamiliar conditions and conflicting records are common at start-up. Here the product gathers the alarms, the ticket and the applicable manual, finds that condition data are missing and hands over to a specialist. People close the ticket.

Simulated records for illustration.

the ticket stays open; the product never closes it

Roles

Who decides, who acts, who supports

Decides
The owner’s qualified, authorised people or approved systems confirm site conditions and operating actions.
Acts
Shift teams run the tasks. A trained team — Be Water, a partner or your own — connects, configures and checks.
Supports
Specialists adapt methods and judge unfamiliar conditions. Be Water supports the products it supplies.

How a result is handled

Chosen per task. Access to data is not permission to change records, work orders or equipment settings; existing interlocks and control responsibilities stay as they are.

What you keep, what gets added

You keep

  • Systems already selected for the factory or provided by the group
  • Supplier interfaces and control responsibilities
  • Your own staffing, recruitment and job training

Added

  • Operating tasks mapped to information, application, role and handover
  • Equipment, process and record definitions that give data and methods a common context
  • Configured applications, rehearsed before start-up
  • AI Workforce, where AI should organise the follow-up (optional)

Nothing has to be replaced wholesale. Runs on site, in your private environment or in an agreed cloud.

Proof

What the team has delivered

We claim no new-plant results. A new plant’s first applications draw on methods the team delivered on operating sites:

Delivered by team members at their former organisation. Results as reported in project materials.

Buying and support

How buying and support work

The initial scope covers the selected software, applications, configuration, integration and acceptance, plus rehearsals and product-use training where chosen. Recruitment and job training stay with the owner and its providers.

  1. Discuss the first task

Which task, which records and systems, and who uses the result.

  2. Agree the plan and costs

The quote states what each part includes and what is one-off or recurring.

  3. Trial, check and hand over

The people who will use it test real tasks, including missing data and exceptions.

  4. Use and maintain

Your team works with the results; products, interfaces and models are maintained as agreed.

What a quote is made of

  • First connection and configuration
  • Platform operation and maintenance
  • Professional applications (licence)
  • AI Workforce (optional)
  • Site or specialist services

Using Be Water applications is a licence for an agreed scope, not a transfer of source code or proprietary models. Connecting does not change your rights to your data, processes, recipes and models.

The construction stage, the team and systems being prepared, and the tasks that matter at start-up are enough to begin.
